Below are links to TLAER related news and actual large animal rescue incidents performed by emergency responders, animal owners, bystanders, and other members of the public. While the rescues appear to be successful, some of the stories linked below depict rescue operations that do not utilize TLAER approved techniques or equipment, however some of the rescues linked below are performed with TLAER condoned techniques and/or equipment or variations thereof that allow for the utmost safety of the animal victim and rescuer and the best chance for a successful outcome. The stories are included on the TLAER website to depict how frequently TLAER incidents occur, the diversity of the incident locations, and the various scenarios that the responding rescuers have to be prepared to handle.
