COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

The TLAER course curriculum has been modified to offer TLAER Certification Levels:

AWARENESS                              OPERATIONS

Individuals can attend an Awareness Level Course to achieve TLAER Awareness Certification.

Individuals can attend an Operations Level Course as a Participant for TLAER Operations Level Certification or as an Auditor for TLAER Awareness Level Certification.

AWARENESS                              OPERATIONS


BE PREPARED FOR CLASS, TLAER PRE-COURSE HOMEWORK...

  As a prerequisite, it is highly recommended by TLAER, Inc. that course attendees complete the online courses listed below prior to attending an Awareness or Operations Level Course.  Online registration and certification are free through FEMA.GOV.  TLAER course attendees will benefit from the knowledge obtained from these topics and will be able to better understand some of the basic, yet vital, components of TLAER incidents and emergency responses taught throughout the courses.

Please note:  The courses listed below are TLAER, Inc. courses that are instructed by TLAER Primary Instructors Tomas Gimenez and Rebecca Gimenez with the assistance of approved TLAER Assistant Instructors.  Please submit an inquiry to TLAER, Inc. regarding any course that you are considering attending that is not listed on this website, as it may not be a TLAER accredited course or approved by TLAER, Inc.  TLAER, Inc. is not stating that the courses offered and instructed by others, not affiliated with TLAER, Inc. provide inappropriate training and education, but instead are not regulated under TLAER, Inc. standards, policies, and curriculum.  The large animal rescue courses that are available to the public under different venues are organized and instructed by independent contractors who set their own formats, pricing and schedules.  TLAER, Inc. does not regulate or receive any portion of those fees or services.  If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to contact Tomas Gimenez or Rebecca Gimenez.

NOVEMBER 2010

G'DAY MATE!  Dr. Rebecca Gimenez will be heading to Australia for EQUITANA, November 18-21, 2010.  She has been invited to speak in front of a lucrative international equestrian audience at the largest equine education program in Australia!  EQUITANA Melbourne is excited to welcome Rebecca as an educator this year, and include a TLAER presentation into the program.  With Rebecca's attendance and educational presentation, as well as a number of equally innovative educators presenting, this year promises to be the most diverse program at EQUITANA Melbourne yet!
